Mission Statement

Glorietta Parents' Club Mission Statement
The mission of this organization is to support the educational mission of Glorietta Elementary School, at 15 Martha Road, in Orinda, California, and the Orinda Union School District (OUSD).
The GPC does this through:

a. Fundraising: In order to provide academic enrichment programs, capital improvements and supplies for students and the school.

b. Communication: Facilitate communication between parents, teachers, administration, and school district.

c. Building Community: Foster healthy relationships within the Glorietta school community, which contribute to the success of every student.Facilitate parent volunteering.

Charitable Intent. GPC is a nonprofit public-benefit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and California’s Non-Profit Public Benefit law. GPC is not organized for the private gain of any person. The property of GPC is irrevocably dedicated to charitable purposes and no part of the income or assets of GPC will ever be to the benefit of any officer, board member, or member thereof or to the benefit of any private person(s).


Any parent of any child enrolled at Glorietta School is eligible for membership. A majority of all Glorietta families are members. It’s this level of commitment that makes our school so successful. 


The GPC fully funds many services that support facility improvements, classroom supplies and safety of our students. In addition, GPC provides:

  • Classroom Instructional Assistants
  • Physical Education Teacher
  • School Psychologist
  • Library Technician
  • Technology Devices
  • School Clerk

The GPC joins with EFO and the Orinda Unified School District to fund

  • K-3 Classroom Size Reduction
