Our school library functions as an active part of the educational program. All students receive weekly exposure to reading activities, research skill instruction, and literature enrichment presentations. Our quality collection provides a wide variety of current print and non-print materials for recreational reading and for individual or classroom research projects and assignments. Children are encouraged to check out books on a regular basis. Parents are welcome to visit the library at any time to check out books or to volunteer their services. Many parents donate a new book to the library in honor of the child´s birthday.

The Orinda Union School District is currently reviewing all of the library and technology infrastructure and is planning to rename and reprioritize all informational technologies. More to come as this very exciting new program takes shape.
